I downloaded it fine. If you have problems on your x1 getting it try getting it in the Microsoft store page on your computer or something and sign in and get it from there. It should be in your ready to install tab afterwards. Im not sure why it needs payment info but it shouldn't charge you anything unless you don't got Xbox gold. It's just probably part of the checkout process and even though it's free you still go to the purchase page as if you were buying the game normally and just may need payment info just to continue the process since its required for buying anything. Since its only free because of game of the month that's probably why. If it was always free they wouldn't need payment info.
