is 1 tb worth the extra $50? what is the average gb used for a game download on xb1?

Retail games usually at least 30gb. Depends how much you manage your games. People that complain about lack of space usually have 15+ games on their box that they aren't playing.

Most indie games less than 1gb still

GTA 5 is 60 GB and games are only getting bigger. I ran out of space on my 500 GB so I deleted some games I didn't play anymore. Yeah it would have been nice to not have to delete them, but an install is easy and the system keeps your saved game data so you keep your progress.

just get an external hd. wd mybook is like 150$ for 5tb well worth the investment.

Its ineed worth the extra 50 bucks.
Because you will probbably install halo, and all the rare classic games. which will take up 135 gb alone.
then games like diablo 3, are like 15 gb. any shooter games can be 7 to 15 gb. ect.
Some games go as high as 45 gb.

Then you will want some xbox 1 apps, videos/music ect.
trust me I bought the xbox1 500gb 11 months ago... I have to delete games weekly, just to try new ones , or rotate around ect.
You need atleast 1 TB hard drive, and will most likely want to buy another 1gb external hard drive / ssd ect.


As you may know with anything from Microsoft... when they say 500gb, they really mean like 470GB..
1tb is around 930 gb ect.
