Picked it up today, and I'm trying to install it. But it keeps saying "installation stopped" between 0-3% of the updates n shit. Xbox says they're having "social and gaming" issues.

Just curious if anyone is having any issues and if this is just Microsoft being dicks, or if my xbox is all fuckered

It kept happening after the issues went away. I talked to Microsoft, they did every possible troubleshooting they could do. Microsoft said it was a defective disc and I should return it. Gave me some case number to show the store too. They "100% guarantee" it's not my console or connection

Weird, was anything wrong with the disc (scratches or anything?) or just happened to be a dud?

Turned out it was just a dud. Disc was mint condition. Examined the fuck out of it. My buddy at the game store said they've actually had a few exact situations. Got a new copy, installed it after work and it's fine now. Pissed me off last night hahah

I've heard of a few of these on Xbox One and 360. Doesn't seem to have hit PS. Weird though... glad they replaced it. Saw a few complaints from people online who said the game store refused to trade it out or give them their money back. I'd be absolutely fucking livid if that happened.

My IRL buddy who bought me my Ps4 wanted to play on PS, so that's where we're playing. Also, not that it matters because I don't have the time nor talent anymore to be that good, but comp is on PS now, not Xbox. The competition will be much better even just doing GBs on the PS then it would be on the Xbox.

I imagine it'll switch. In Bo2 I held a 3.8 K/D while hitting Masters in ranked on PS, I think I was at like a 1.8 on Xbox. It's crazy how big of a difference it makes where the comp scene is, that's the system that every single wannabe little try-hard is going to play.
