I'm stuck between deciding which one of these 2 games I should buy. Let me say that I really enjoyed Midnight Club LA and the old NFS games. The only game I can think of that may be similar to Witcher 3 that I have played is Fable 2 and I stopped playing it after an hour. My senses are telling me to obviously pick FH2 but the hype around Witcher 3 is insane right now. HELP ME!!!

Witcher 3 is an insanely big game. 200+ hours of content. The combat is fun and fluid and so far every single quest (main and side) for me has been really fun and interesting, not some generic time-fill. If you like RPGs there really is no better choice at the moment.

FH2.

Witcher games aren't for everyone.

I've never been a fanatic for racing games. I would pick Witcher 3, but that's just me.

Neither? Wait for a good game.

The Witcher is nothing like Fable 2... That game was complete fucking garbage, just like Fable 3. Fable 1 was a fun game, but it's a 3 hour game from start to finish and you can do it very easily without dying the whole way through.

The Witcher has one of the best stories I've seen in a game in a very long time. Unfortunately, that story sometimes interferes with someone just trying to fuck around and game a bit. The game is a lot of fun if you play on a very low difficulty and you can just take hits and have fun with the combat. If you actually like being challenged, the combat is horrible. It's slow, clunky, sometimes glitchy (they've improved this) and it's beyond fucking tedious. The higher difficulty combat just completely killed it for me.

The game does have a ton of hype around it and people seem to be very excited because it's the first game in a long time with decent play-ability and an actual story, something that's been nonexistent from devs over the last few years. First and foremost the actual game-play is what I care about. A shit story can be replaced by fantastic game-play, mediocre game-play can't be replaced by a fantastic story, that's just me though. Others will swear the game is perfect, the fighting is awesome, it runs smooth etc etc. I personally though it was clunky and boring though and I got bored of it very quickly.

Bottom line is that it sounds like you like racing games and you know fuck all about RPGs. If the only thing you have to compare this to is Fable 2, then obviously you should just stay away from RPGs, some people just don't them lol. You know you like racing games, go get the damn racing game.

I just got the witcher a few days ago.

Games fucking massive, no load times unless you die or fast travel. I'm almost 2 days played in and I can't imagine finishing it all within 200 hrs

Looks great, great soundtrack, voice acting is on point, bewbs, story seems pretty interesting even though I havnt done much of it.
Combat takes a bit of getting used to but it plays smoothly.
Read somewhere the map is like 5 times the size of skyrim, I'd hold on forza for now.

Having clunky action in an action RPG always turns me on....

Nty I'll wait for Fallout 4 & ME Andromeda
