im thinking about buying this with my taxes

its only $349

is the game playable now with all patches?

It could still use a few improvements but overall matchmaking is successful now, i couldn't comment on campaign as i haven't played it since the 3fps days

stayed at my friends house recently for the weekend. One day when we were playing it, encountered vew hickups (someone not getting in, dcs, etc.)

and one day we just couldn't play at all, maybe was just a bad day for the servers. When we could play though, it wasn't too bad

They recently dropped a patch that fixed all party/match making issues

It's been a real solid improvement, finding games in less then a minute, no more mix matched teams(i have gotten a lot of kids standing still though)

It's good

to be honest i wouldn't buy it

i will wait for the xbox one halo 5 edition.

I actually started playing the multiplayers and its alot of fun. Game cues are down to about 2 minutes ish i hope they get even shorter with future updates

Yeah, except if he wants to upgrade now that wouldn't help him.
