My xbone keeps disconnecting from the internet. My other xbone isn't having this problem so I have doubts it's my internet. When I try to reconnect it says "can't connect. Check your network name and password and try again." I'm not selecting the wrong network ofc and password is correct. Help!!! I did a hard reset and that worked however the problem came back after an hour.

Any ideas??? I'm about to hard reset again and see if it stops disconnecting.

possibly defective xbox?

I don't think it's too far since it's been working for a year now and can connect still however today just suddenly started disconnecting

Possibly defective if so I don't mind bought geek squad protection

Is it possible to get an ethernet cable and go wired or too far?

Did you get a new router by any chance? If so you may need to call the router company and have them work with you!

Warranty your xb1 and get a new one.

This doesn't sound like it needs to be replaced. I have had to re set my IP address under the system settings before. You will have to google your up address. Like Cox.net zip code 57676
