Hey guys,

I recently just got an Xbox One, and I am having an issue with my controller's left joystick. When I rotate the joystick around it makes this clicking noise. I don't know what it could be, but it makes playing games somewhat annoying.

Has anyone else had this problem before?

Any help is welcomed. Thanks much!

I think one of my controllers makes this noise. Hasn't affected actual gameplay so I didn't worry about it. Also it only occurs if I go full circle with it which is rare

So if you're experiencing this issue as well, is this just something that the new controllers do? I mean, it's playable with the noise, just not as enjoyable as I'd like it to be. Any ideas on how I could attempt to fix it?

I'll check my other one when I get home tomorrow. I don't have them handy. I'll post when I can.

my armed forces controller does the same thing when i push it to the left. I don't think it is a big deal, and it hasn't affected my gameplay

I have the blue one, doesnt make noise... weird hvnt seen any news on that.

Both of mine click but it's almost inaudible. Also again, doesn't affect the smoothness of the motion

when i first got my 2 controllers both of them did it, however after a bit of playing with them they have stopped.

Thanks for everyone's advice on this. I really appreciate it. I'm playing Sunset Overdrive and it doesn't seem to be affecting gameplay at all and it still seems very smooth. I'm sure once I wear the controller in more the noise will probably stop.
