I played it the weekend it was free, beat it

Its pretty awesome but has way to many collectables, i thought black flag with the 200 fragments and chests was bad. This game goes to 1500+

In my opinion, the amount of collectibles in a game doesn't change the quality of the game.
More times than not, they are just something extra thrown in that you don't even need to do if you don't want.
If anything, if gives you something to do once you start getting bored with the game.
