So I went to midnight launch for MCC last night.
Got the digital version, came home with my code. (I already had it paid off at gamestop when I decided to go digital for this one)
I try to redeem the code. Does not work. I contact MS support for an hour+ while we try to figure out whats going on. Send them a pic of receipt etc.
They say it's on Gamestops end.
I call gamestop this morning, nothing they can do on phone. Have to arrive in person. This is another $10 in gas, at this point my total expense for MCC has been $84 with the two trips to gamestop and back.
Big ass line when I get to gamestop. Wait there for 15+ minutes.
Finally make it to the counter, only 1 employee and he has no idea what to do. He tries calling his manager, no response. Asks me to wait on the side for a call back. Another 10-15 minutes pass, he gives me a number for Gamestop support. After waiting 20 minutes to get connected to a person, the receipt printer must have been low on ink, usually I catch this kind of thing. A "6" looked like an E because of how perfectly it was cut off.
I just get home now, 12 hours after I bought the game, redeem the code which was oddly for $64 credit on my microsoft account.
Whatever, no big deal right? I'll finally start the download and be up and running in a couple more hours.
You would think that was the case.
It's not. I go to buy MCC and it just says "Unavailable"
