i have the steelseries siberia v2 headset and saw that in order to use a headset on the xb1 you need this

Ya it looks like u need to whats cool about the adapter is that u can hear the game through the controller

What's cool about headphones is that you can hear sound at full volume without bothering other people.

Adapter allows you to use the headset because the headphone jack is different in size.
