There is only one vendor I can find, which is the titan quartermaster underneath the middle of the tower. None of the gear is an upgrade, except for boots which would give me +3 light and other useless stats.
Is there a weapon vendor somewhere? I have 200 marks, and I just hit rank 2 for the vanguard.

you cant get weapons until rank 3 and the lady is down in the area to the right of where you come into town

I personally wouldn't waste marks on weapons. They are common enough as you play.

At this point I am fully exotic/legendary other than my boots and my auto rifle. The boots I can get from the vanguard are an upgrade, but not by much. the bonus effects won't help me out. So other than gaining another level (or close to it) they would be of no use to me and would be replaced as soon as i found another pair of legendary boots. Doesn't seem worth the mark sacrifice. I think a more powerful weapon would be a wiser upgrade.

Can't get pictures to work, but I've got about 15 legendary/exotic weapons and I haven't purchased any of them. Got them all via crucible and weekly/nightfall strikes

I have several games played in the crucible, maxed out both weeks. I have done every weekly and daily challenge except the lvl 28 nightfall strikes. I have only found two legendary items and both of them were warlock gauntlets whilst I am a Titan. Using marks and strange coin will likely be the way I get my items since I will likely be screwed by the drop system. I'm lvl 27 but have no legendary weapons...
