3am is only for preloaders. So yes it does matter

i don't see how that would matter, servers go online at 3 am. you pick the game up but wont be able to log on until 3am, you need internet to play the game

Servers are already online for Xbox if you have a physical copy.

They are just not allowing access for digital until 12AM PST.
