PlayStation 4 and Xbox One owners now get the chance to visit Blizzard's loot-infested version of Hell. On August 19, Diablo III: Reaper of Souls – Ultimate Evil Edition hits PlayStation 4, Xbox One, PlayStation 3, and Xbox 360.

This version includes the base Diablo III game and the Reaper of Souls expansion. The PlayStation 4 and Xbox One versions retail for $59.99, whereas the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 versions hold the considerably lower price of $39.99. All launch day copies of the Ultimate Evil Edition come packaged with a code for Infernal Pauldrons shoulder plates. Blizzard gives a brief taste of what players can expect from them: "Wearable at level 1, these devilishly handsome shoulder plates provide bonuses to Vitality, Life per Second, and Cooldown Reduction, and are primed and ready for transmogrification."

If you've already played Diablo III on PlayStation 3 or Xbox 360, your saves carry over into Ultimate Evil Edition. You can also transfer PlayStation 3 saves to PlayStation 4, and Xbox 360 saves to Xbox One.

Agreed. I'm glad that they are finally confirming universal release date for console versions. Before they weren't sure if it was going to be out on XB One and there was no mention of previous gen.

PS4 technically lost an exclusive from its earlier lists.

The expansions costs $40 on pc if I am not mistaken (at least LOD as $40 for just the expansion). Same as on the console.

I think some of the loot system changes which were made on PC. Maybe not though. Eh I don't really care, I'll still probably get it when it's on sale for the first time.
