The Batmobile is explained as a "core element" of gameplay, which means a new area of Gotham larger than Arkham City will be revealed

I read that today. It's interesting that they handed it over for a prequel inbetween. I thought they were done with the license.

Let me rephrase.

Rocksteady said this game will be their last Arkham game it will put the series to rest in their book to complete the trilogy

They may make another Batman game based in Gotham or w/e but this is the last Arkham game they are doing

WB will probably milk it like they did with Origins.
