anyone know if when i sign into my account and view my friends list
and it displays "Last seen 5 hours ago playing Xbox Dashboard" for a specific friend......does this mean they were logged in their console or would this be displayed if they signed in on that smartglass?

This means they where on their actually Xbox. And they have no game in their Xbox therefore they where last seen on they dashboard.

If a user signed in on Xbox Smartglass it would appear as last seen on Xbox.com
