Had the same problem sneak into someones house at niggt woth all your armour off and press a on them in sneak. it will give you the option to feed do that.

i tried to visit the mage when everyone is attacking you he will join in so go see him after you have fed and do hos quest it ill cure you

Ugh pretty sure my game is bugged
I got the letter from the firebeard guy in solitude to come see him
I got in and a guard is like the jarl is sick blah blah blah
I talk to the firebeard guy and he like follow me while we visit the jarls room
and then nothing happens
