lol i share a computer with my family it in the living room and very slow and no i dont own a xbox i play on a friends from class

I'm sorry man, and I thought my life was bad. Well, I'm still currently bored right now.

I already posted my setup. but here it is again. I actually need some help.
My monitor as seen has been giving me some dificulties. While in game playing mw2, my screen will start to have verticle colored streaks going up and down on the screen. idk what was happening, so i panicd and shut it off. all i know is that it has something to do with the VGA cable or the Monitor VGA input. Can anyone help me out with this?

would i be able to exchange the cords for the same ones?
they worked for 2 months then just took a shit on me ):
they are just VGA cables.
um yeah there is a DVI input but i dnt think i could get a converter thing.
