If you do it through the iron dagger thing then it is going to cost ALOT more than 10k. Probably closer to 25k-30k. Deadric armor is awesome, my guy is a spellsword so I have no shield, I have an armor rating of 300 even with no shield or helm. I can go back and make enchanted clothes to add 100% to smithing and remake/upgrade new deadric armor for even more defense. If you're not a fan of heavy armor then the light dragon bone armor is your best choice. On my next character I'm still going up the heavy armor side on smithing though so I have access to make deadric weapons even though I'll be wearing light armor.

Costs like 8-10k max with iron. Just did it

Iron Dagger thing? Spellsword? Light Dragon Bone Armor?

Sorry, Skyrim is the first Elder Scrolls game that i've purchased and I don't know those items/terms. :(

Iron dagger thing is an exploit to get your smithing to a skill of 100 at a fast rate. Spellsword is just a loose class of what my character is, he uses a sword/heavy armor/magic instead of being a pure mage/warrior/theif. Battlemage is probably a better term for what he is really. Dragon armor is the new armor they put in the game, you need a smithing skill of 100 to be able to craft it and it uses dragon bones/scales as ingredients

No, but putting 40% one-handed damage and 62 stamina on a ring feels pretty boss.

Just reached lvl 100 destruction and finally did the quest to get master lvl spells.
They take a long time to start casting, but once they get unleashed every thing melts.

get your destruction up and Faralda at the college will sell you better spells.

Also: master lvl spells require you to be stationary, but they completely destroy everything so far.
