From what I've been told, it all depends on your spot in line for preordering. First come, first serve etc. If they have 100 in stock on day 1 and you're #104, then you'll have to watch for the next batch. It happened to me once last year and I flipped out via chat. They gave me half my money back and still shipped the game so I quickly shut my mouth though.
