Is the walking dead really that good?
I remember when it got released and all the regs were hyping it..
So I watched the first episode and I had to finish it in like 8 sittings..
I didnt like it at all :>

Should I give it like a few episodes?
Or do I face the truth that walking dead scare the living shit out of me seeing Belgium doesnt even win a war vs the living and just call the show bad

If you read the comics, you know the gov will not die until he accomplishes two things :

1:Brutal rape and torture of at least one person in ricks group
2:Murders all of Ricks group that stays at the prison minus rick and carl

(Although the show follows the comic very loosely, hence Michonne never being raped and tortured and then cutting off his balls, so I am sure more people will survive than Carl and Rick)

It's one of those shows that you can say, "Oh but, *this version* was so much better than *this version*"

The thing with that though is the large majority of the people that now say that read a few chapters in the comics after watching some of the TV show or didn't read the comics at all.

Then people say it has too much drama and while it does have drama; what kind of show would it be without it. You can only go so far with GOOTA KILL ZOMBIES. The funny thing is that people that bring up the "drama" argument are the people who aren't sitting at home waiting with anticipation for the next comic to come out. Hell they probablly never read the comics because if they did they would know WHOLE CHAPTER AFTER CHAPTERS are dedicated to "drama" and "filler" and the anticipated build up of the next ones coming out.
