if you happen to be a mage just go to winterhold quests and get the arch mage house for free

u can also get it as warrior or thief or whatever. u just have to do the quests

Whats all in the house in solitude? whats it look like? Pics?

3 floors, has enchanting and alchemy lab. Big kitchen, big bedroom with lots of storage. 2 mannequins you can set up armour on. (I have full Dragonscale and Dragonbone set up on mine)

It's over 32,000 gold with all the upgrades though.

it costs like 25,000 gold just to unlock it, so it better be damn nice.

just talk to the lady at the bottom of the path and she asks u to cast a conjuration spell, and if you dont have it she gives it to you
