He doesn't say it directly there but it sounds like they regret selling it, even if EA offered them all executive positions within EA afterwards. Not that they make bad games, they still make great games, but I can only imagine how different they would have been without EA. There likely would have been no SWTOR, but very likely a KOTOR III. (In this area, the former is the better option. You can play SWTOR like a single player game anyway and there's far more content than KOTOR III could have ever had. Only thing that would have been better is the graphics). Dragon Age II probably would have came out around now and would have been similar to DAO. Mass Effect 2 likely would have been very similar, probably some more RPG elements though, Bioware has admitted they hated the combat system from ME1.
They also talk about why they left, and you can blame their "fans" for that one. Basement dwellers trying to bully game makers made them lose their passion. It's so disgusting what some of those people did, so obsessed with video games.
