On another note, anyone in here still play Arena? Starting to get sick of running into bad teams. By no means an amazing player, but I've been running into teams who think the flags are aids, ignore camo, and think stronghold means Slayer.

I think I already have you added from CoD, but itsNooba and I land plat 6 every single time.

I don't understand it though, I play all my placement games with a buddy, out perform him in the majority of the games, and end up with a lower rank.

Skill isn't taken into account as far as I know. They use an MMR type system. You get ranked usually around where you were last season, I got mostly plat last season with placements, pushed to onyx or high diamond in most shit and now with losing way more placements, I hit mid diamond in everything I've placed so far. I played onyx/champion through most my placements. If you're also playing with lower ranks through your placements, that hurts you too.

Hoping I'll actually onyx in ffa off placements. 2x 2nd, 3x 1st and a 5th so far . I've only seen one diamond through all my games. All onyx or unranked kids in every game
