Which system? Xbox I assume?
On Xbox one I haven't had any problems since the recent update. Currently open Nat, and I summoned and got invaded frequently last night (and for the last few weeks with no issue)
I had lots of issues before I forwarded my ports to get an open nat. After that, no issues at all, even with simply connecting to the servers. Before I had to queue a download to connect, now it just works as it should.
I heard ps4 has had problems with a few games, ds3 included, and pc got reverted due to stuttering issues. (lol master race...)
Unfortunately none of those solutions, albeit helping you, wont rectify the problem he, and many many other people are experiencing.
There was a mega thread on reddit a few days ago about people, despite not having any issues with their nat, or internet conenction, could not summon, invade, see summon signs or do anything co-op. What they concluded was that, if you have an older xbox account, you are less prioritized than people with newer accounts. Astonishingly hard to believe right? But numerous people tested that theory out, they created new accounts, and bam, immediately back into the pvp/co-op scene. Now why in the world is that actually a thing? Who knows, its From, they're notoriously shitty at this thing. Luckily, with the announcement of patch 1.07 going live today, From states, and keep in mind that this is From, they use very little and vague descriptions in their statements, said, "Improved the password matching rate, improved other game balance, several game flaws fixed." The problem isnt on our end, its on their end. Fingers crossed this patch fixes that issue and doesnt completely fuck up other things, which at this point, is a crap shoot.
