Ignoring the garbage posts form the bad trolls, I think I'd put money on the One being between $400-450. A couple reasons why:
One, all reports indicate that these consoles will release for cheaper then the consoles of last generation. Two, Microsoft last gen sold the console at a loss for three years. Why? Because it was their plan all along. Their goal was to start making money on the console by 2008 (Which they fulfilled). You sell your console at a loss to create a bigger market, then make your money on advertisements, supporting hardware/software, and games. Sony on the other hand announced their goal is to make money from day one on the PS4. Maybe we'll see the return of the console that costs $800 after taxes again
