It's pretty ridiculous. I farmed missions for awhile and then switched to PvP to hit all my bounties. I was getting 2-3k+ xp per pvp game and then the bounties on top of it. I was also doing skirmish, that way the matches only lasted like 8-10 minutes. Was pretty fucking fast.

So in VoG spent a hour trying to knock templar off the edge for a chest that im sure one of my other buddies found imo it was a waste of time the guy who wanted to do it says the chest doesnt spawn unless you knock the templar off and the chance of getting gear slim i guess they have played loot games before it been better to kill the templar the way he is meant to be killed

Takes maybe 5 minutes at most to cheese the Templar with AoE grenades. I've never seen anything other than materials rewarded from the chest though

This. It's incredibly easy to knock him off, you just need to be using the right grenades. I'm certain it's a material only chest. Knocking him off isn't why the chest spawns, the chest spawns because you killed him without letting him teleport. If the templar teleports, the chest automatically goes away. You can kill him legit without him teleporting but obviously it's a lot more difficult than hiding in a corner and throwing nades for 5 minutes.
