Personally, I've always had a Sony branded console, from the days of PlayStation classic, then to PS2. And I rocked with a ps2 even years after ps3 was released. It was only natural when it came time for me to move on to a newer system, I went with ps3. Who really goes from the one thing they know and love and abandons ship for the next possible big thing on a whim? I liked the product sony has made over the years and I was familiar and comfortable with the controller(s) and comparing the ps3's bluray to a 360's obsolete HD DVD player, sticking with sony was an easy decision
BTW did MS ever change that?
I know xbones now have bluray but did they ever replace the drive to bluray in the 360?
And ps3 offers free online, how can anyone hate on that?
How can anyone really justify paying more money to play the same game I can play for free?
Back on topic. by the time ps4 and xbox one came about, ps4 came out with a game plan and stuck to it while microsoft changed their strategy so many times no one knew if they were coming or going. I cant take them too seriously cuz half the time it seems like they dont even know what the hell theyre doing themselves. End of rant, ..and I already had invested so much time and money into Sony and their products from owning PSX, ps2, ps3 and PS vita, I chose ps4 not only because its a brand I love and trust but I could use my vita as a second controller with ps4 and even play ps4 games on my handheld. From a gamers perspective That's fucking awesome, not to mention they're going to introduce a patch where your friends can play games you own, even if they dont. Not to mention I made a serious account with PSN I wanted to see it to continue to flourish. So ps4 was the way to go for me..Ride or die!
These are just some reasons why I, and maybe others went with ps4. but whatever. Play what you like, whether its PC games. Xbox games. PlayStation games or even mobile games. who cares, To each his own! Good day!
