Think it was called the "xbox 360 Premium" back then.
Where the distinguishing factors were that it came with a wireless controller, chrome plate on disc tray, & a 20 gb hard drive etc.
Still running like a champ.

Some of us have seem to have bad luck.
I have heard of people going through 5 + consoles.
Always thought it has to be user error in there somewhere. But everyone I encountered has assured me that it isn't.
Guess its very bad luck.

only problem i have is controllers, and mic

My first one wore at from to much gears war playing.

My second one right now its becoming shot, this one is corder unlike my other one but now it says every once in awhile, it says reconnect controller, bc i threw it on ground rly hard.

First Mic broke, Second Mic broke, Third Mic you couldnt hear me all the time, and this mic i have now is wireless its my friends its alittle broken bc he threw it at wall buts it only case
it works perfect, only bad thing is its 3 years old so the lithium battery inside of it cant hold a charge worth a shit, i cant even use it a full day like maybe 7 Hours at a max b4 it starts saying hey im about dead

2nd year no RROD. ^_^ Although my xbox has trouble reading games sometimes.

I am with you on the controller.
First controller I had that came with the console was defective from the start.
The connection would not always hold in place from battery to controller for some reason.
They sent me a new one promptly & allowed me to keep the defective.

I was later able to repair it myself, but I wouldn't have bothered if they had not sent the replacement.

Have yet to have an issue with them far as wear & tear, but I am with you on the rechargeable battery packs.
They don't go 20 + hours strong for me anymore, but thats typical of almost any rechargeable device (I think).

my bro and i bought ours in dec. 2007 i wanna say. so far nothing except the power block you plug in was working off and on for a couple weeks.
