Is the game still as hyped as it was during it's release & also is it worth buying considering that COD: AW is going to release soon?

I think that depends mostly on what type of game you want to play.


People who like it, love it and are hype fanatics still. Everyone else realized it did not live up to the original hype and are waiting for other games to come out.

I enjoy destiny since i like doing PVE stuff raiding etc, but i like it alot because i found a small group to play with.
If i never found a group to play with i would probably be bored of the game.

For as COD:AW if COD is your kind of game then its worth it.

Worth it. At one point you will probably be bored of destiny after 1-2 hours, and will want to change game (and go on AW). But you will always come back everyday for the daily events/bounties and weekly challenges.
