once you get spectre status and can fly around on your own, the game gets much better.

What i just realized, why dont the reapers just take out each galaxies sun and make all their planets just freeze and fly off into space. Assuming they had the technology to do that ofc but if they built the mass relays then you think they could manage.

From what i know they kill the majority of life, use the rest to "mine" and shit like that for them. Use them as slaves for a while and let them die off. And repeat the process every 50k? years or so.

Because if you destroy the galaxies that perpetuate the species that they cull, you won't have any additional species to cull in the future.
They wipe out civilizations and then let new ones develop. Think of them like the borg. They assimilate the technology and genetic material of the species to further their own.
Organic species are basically a renewable resource to them, you don't destroy your resources habitat if you can help it.
