The kind of generalizations he made as an argument could be said for any and all video games. Run the hard raid and then get back to me on it being as simple as just shooting and "dodging bullets".
There is a reason why the hard raid is considered some of the most challenging gaming experiences. And let's not ignore the fact that it's just the first raid, of at least 6. There is most likely a raid for every planet/moon, and there are going to be 9 planets/moons in Destiny, NOT including the Reef, which will have a raid as well.
Each raid, having new puzzles and challenges, different enemies requiring the use of different weapons to effectively take them, and so forth. Example being in the Venus Raid, Void damage is crucial to taking down the minotaurs in the Hard Raid.
To generalize such things is just ignorance. Sure, the game isn't what some people want, but obviously it's what a lot of people do want. And to say it's "easy" is comical.
