I got a legit question.
I have friends who wait for games and are so hyped.
Then when they get here they play them on the easiest difficulty. One's you can't even fail if you were trying too.
What the point?

At least they're playing something they enjoy, most gamers enjoy a great story line. Do you think he really enjoyed Barbie and her sisters puppy rescue? Even with it being him, I seriously fucking doubt it lol.

Yeah but you can garner enjoyment out of something that isn't enjoyable. Like that act of collecting might be the enjoyable factor.

I could probably think of a better example, but the marathon Tough Mudder.
The marathon where you run through the mud and get shocked and shit.
That, on its own is not fun, but combined with all the other people and maybe winning medal is enjoyable.

Yeah, I get that, but I think that kind of stuff builds you as a person and truly tests who you are. While I get what you're saying, I don't think playing a Barbie game is very comparable lol.

It's a challenge, I'd much rather get all the achievements in a challenging game than filling up my account with trash.

Thing is 80% of the games in his link are shit that he's 100%

That's like bragging about owning xxx amount of games when 80% of it is shovelware.

It's still an accomplishment in my opinion.
I'm a trophy whore and not above reproach and still don't have that many platinums.

I go for achievements on xbox, but I'd much rather spend 100+ hours completing The Witcher 3 over playing 10 point-and-click adventures to rack up Gamerscore in the same amount of time.

Overall, it looks like shit, and I'd be much more impressed over harder completions with less games played.

Different strokes.
Like my friends I mentioned earlier, I would rather play a game on normal/hard than play on the difficulty below easy and just be fed the story.

Guess it could be different strokes, but he's the one trying to brag about his shovelware achievements/trophies like they're respectable.
