Anyway, I ended up buying the DLC, thoroughly enjoyed it for two weeks, and now I am bored while waiting for weekly reset. Will be buying the new xpac that comes out. Hopefully the scattered and lack of story and sense of purpose in the game will be addressed.
Hopefully. If they fix PvP or ever release a DLC with more than 3 hours of content, I will come back. I loved Destiny. I had a blast playing it and I played almost exclusively with cool people from D2jsp. It's just upsetting that they keep releasing expansions with NO content, seriously, Crota (the last DLC I bought) was a complete joke. The raid wasn't difficult at all and none of the other content released with that xpac took more than 2 hours. That's just upsetting to me. I want Bungie to put more work into this game, I want to love this game. I thought it had a lot of potential and I played it a lot with the hopes that they would continue to improve it, they just went the other way and constantly have made it worse and worse.
I've heard Trials was awesome from people who can stand PvP. I'm just not going to run around with an easy-mode weapon, sliding or blinking with a shotgun. I refuse to play like that and it's fucking stupid that with the exception of like two pulse rifles, there is no other viable options when it comes to primaries. Hand Cannons are easy as fuck to use, Pulse Rifles take a bit of skill but they're still useless if you're playing against someone who doesn't miss with an HC. I really fucking hope they fix this game, I'm incredibly far behind but I would put as much time as I needed in to get caught up, if Bungie would just start giving a fuck about the people who play their game.

I'm just above average at games. I'm allowed to be salty when a game I loved was completely destroyed by one of my favorite companies. I was a Halo fanatic, I played that shit for hours every day when I was in high-school, I did Game Battles, and I did a lot of local tourneys. They let that franchise go to shit and now with Destiny, they released an unfinished game and haven't even added enough content to make it a full game yet lol.
I'm still waiting and I'm still hopeful, people just need to stop living in denial about Destiny being a good game or Bungie being a good company. This game makes it clear to anyone that's not blind that Bungie only cares about the money and that they don't give a shit about anyone playing their game.
I just want them to fix PvP... I don't know why that's so hard for them and I don't know how any of you can stand to play it the way it is now.
