Oh my god thank god.

Agreed that was needed. Perhaps Patric Stuart / man who plays Boromir are a bit too expensive for Bethesda xD

FYI: All the info I posted was from the official skyrim forums.

On leveling:
Totally revamped, no more cl.a.s.s. selection at the start of the game, every skill you level contributes to your overall level. And each time you level you get extra health plus the ability to get either more health, magicka or stamina.
Each level also brings you perks. Cool abilities I guess like in Fallout 3.
Also, the leveling was moved from 1-25 or something like that to 1-50, but 50 is soft-capped, you just advance really slow after that.

awesome, i fucking love perks <3

For those like me who cant wait for this game, heres the info that came in the latest Game Informer:

18 skills in total, 3 less than Oblivion.

Five 'massive' cities.

Your character is the last known remaining Dragonborn, a dragon hunter.

Your mentor, Esbern, is a Nord member of the Blades, possibly the last one left, he is voiced by Max Von Sydow, who did the narration for the teaser.

Some new creatures include mountain giants, frost giants, mammoths and sabretoothed tigers.

You can do more stuff in cities, for example, craft weapons, chop wood and even cook.

Dragons will exist as hostile enemies, and there will be plenty of fights with them, not just the boss battles.

Bethesda has hired many more voice actors to keep the NPC dialogue fresh.

When engaging in dialogue, it no longer zooms in on the person you're speaking to, they can walk around and do things while talking to you, occasionally glancing at you.

The NPC's are much more dynamic, for example, if you drop a weapon inside a city, a young boy may pick it up, run after you, and ask if you dropped it.
Another example of the same event is two men find the weapon and then fight over who gets to keep it.

The Oblivion **** enemy leveling & loot leveling is out, the one in Skyrim is more in the ****of Fallout 3, which in turn is more in the ****of Morrowind.

Fast Travel is still in.

Bow & Arrow is now more powerful, but slower to use.

It seems they have cut out picking ****s in the beginning, citing their reasons as "it's stupid to force to player to predict the way they will play a game they've never played before".

There is no level cap, however after level 50, it takes a lot longer to gain experience.

Every time you level, you recieve a boost in health, and you can select whether to boost your Magicka or Fatigue.
You also select a Perk, Fallout 3/New Vegas ****each(?) time you level up.

Improved 3rd person view.

You can dual wield with almost any type of combination like a dagger in your left hand, a sword in the other, a dagger in each hand, a mace in one hand, fireball in the other.

Combat has been made more tactical and engaging, Bethesda has put a lot of time into making the weapons feel real in your hands.

They've tried to kill off 'cheap' combat tactics such as backpedaling, when walking backwards you're not fast enough to keep your distance from your opponent and at the same time attack him.

The new Radiant Story feature will tailor the sidequests found in the world to your playing ****
For example, if you've gone around killing a lot of vampires, a woman may approach you in a town, asking you to clear out a cave of Vampires.
The game will then look at your playing history, see which caves you have entired, then select a cave you haven't visited for the quest.

Enchantment is a new skill.

There are kids in the game, not known if they are killable.

There are 10 races, most likely the same 10 that were in Oblivion, however the only two confirmed ones so far are Dark Elf and Nord.

You can choose to remove the HUD while you play. (Health, Magicka, Fatigue meter, equipped weapon & selected magic, compass (not confirmed to be in) etc.

There is civil war in Skyrim, it is just starting as the game begins.

The new engine enables much more fluid running water, dynamic shadows and more vibrant trees, with each individual branch and leaf being more 'alive'.

The faces in the new game look much, much better.

Your character, the dragon hunter / Dragonborn, was blessed by the Gods, as were the other Dragonborns, to be able to fight on equal terms with dragons.
As such, you have special spells.

The Godlike dragon Alduin is known as the World-Eater, and it is feared that he is coming to end the world in Skyrim.

Each race is according to Bethesda going to look a lot more distinct.

Shields can now be used as a weapon, pushing your opponent back.

Weapons have finishing moves, which are most likely unlocked as your progress in the weapons skill, think Fable 3, so progressing your blade skill will unlock finishing moves for long swords, etc.

The finishing moves are all unique to the creature you are fighting as well as the weapon you are using.

There are 85 spells in total.

The Draw Distance has been improved with the new engine.

Snow can be seen falling dynamically, not just as a basic texture on the ground.

The game takes place 200 years after Oblivion.

Beards & facial hair is in.

Character customization as a whole has been improved and you can now edit body features

Known returning creatures are zombies, skeletons, wolves, horses, elk.

Some more new ones are trolls and giant spiders.

You can now sprint at the cost of your fatigue.

Dungeons are said to be a lot more unique in Skyrim, should be less repetetive.

Landscapes are also said to be more unique, it's not just going to be snow, as previously thought.

Nice adds :)
the only disappoint comes from monsters.... ive always hated a great deal of the enemies you have to fight in this game. wolves and bears etc are quite boring to fight :(
the daedra are a bit cliche looking and could use some more inspired design.
goblins and stuff are fine... staples of any rpg i suppose. :P
also wish theyd kill off some races... 6 or 7 is fine, NN 10 :E

I always wondered why there were no kids in Oblivion. Yay for pedophiles!!

Also it sounds like they took alot from fable and fallout series which is a good thing.

Why would you? Thats a stupid reason considering Bethesdas "preferred" consele is Xbox (Gets patches faster, less buggy at launch, DLC earlier, pretty noticable with the last two Fallouts)

glitches/bugs dont bother me and i dont buy dlc...my 360 games get scratched just from moving them in/out of my disc wallets...and if i leave them in the shitty cases that they come in, the inner rings break...
ps3 discs are durable as hell, i primarily use my ps3 more because i dont like hooking 2 systems up at a time and the only thing i have for my 360 that i actually play is rock band 3, i only have a wired controller for 360 and i dont plan to buy another controller for either of my systems, my 2 wireless ps3 ones are much nicer imo, plus i prefer the ps3 controller.

too many reasons for me not to get it on ps3 over 360 =p

and imo not having to get it resurfaced, and not having a disc that will get scratched a decent amount from cases is a much better reason to buy it on ps3 than updates/preferred system....i'm a patient person, i can wait an extra month for a patch and dlc that i wont buy
