Is this game even worth playing? I bought it the day it came out cause it looked sweet played it for a while and it just sucked balls in the beginning, seemed very slow in the beginning

Fun as hell imho. Especially when u have a few friends to play with.

Definitely worth playing if you have friends to play with. Worth a playthrough on your own as well, but funnier with more people, and the lasting appeal is way stronger.

havent touched this game since i beat it in 2 weeks with Sam

might start up with Logan, dunno if i should though

its a rental the story mode 1st time is unreal then 2nd its not as good and 3rd it just gets hella boring good game though

Dead Island's first DLC pack, Bloodbath Arena, will launch for Xbox 360 on 22nd November in Europe, a day ahead of the PS3 release.

A Horde Mode variant, it gives you four different arenas in single player and co-op on which to bludgeon, hack or endlessly kick deadheads. There's a new weapon, the Brain Wave Bomb, which may not be as metaphorical as it sounds.

Bloodbath Arena will have a dedicated leaderboard, and you'll be able to port over experience points and item loot to the main Dead Island campaign. It'll cost 800 MP - or, if you preordered Dead Island, sweet Fanny Adams. As in nothing.
