i sold the one i had been using when i fixed a RROD one. but after a few of those dumb disc tray problems i got tired of tinkering with the laser and i don't know where i put the replacement disc drive i had gotten from 3rd RROD someone had given me, so i just decided to get another one since it was on sale.

bought a hd case for $4 and put my old hd into the new slim thing.

i figured the $50 "discount" was a good reason to get one, especially since i'm unsure (more like doubtful) about getting next gen on release.

More work than worth I see + you snagged a deal.

Supposedly a new Xbox code named "scorpion" or some shit is supposed to come out around the next gen launch that will be priced at 99.99

Who knows though that is just JSP/4kid rumors...

I probably won't get new gen when it comes out this year either. Maybe a year after that, if it seems like everyone is jumping to it. But I'd prefer for them to release a second model before I buy it so some of the kinks are worked out.

I still won't stand that one on end either though
