I dont have the PC version and never played it.....but its awesome on 360

why is this game so fun

Because the simple joys of having your delicately timed at4 hit an Apache across map makes you just want to scream with joy.

Or that last second defuse of an M com when all your teammates around you are getting shot down with gunfire.

Or that one perfectly placed 40MM grenade round to the side of a wall where you know that camper is at.

Or that time when that squad of 4 ran up on you and you alone, but you where able to mow them all down with the remaining mag to your gun, a 40MM shotgun round, half a mag from your sidearm, and superior cover working on your side.
