wow I can't believe some of you were so convinced it wasn't a timed exclusive. I'm pretty sure every game in the franchise has sold most on the PS systems, why would Square Enix do such a stupid thing and sell it exclusively?

Where do you have evidence that it is not?

And I'm not convinced it won't at least go to PC, but if MS paid them enough or is covering some costs in publishing/marketing/etc it might be a safer bet for Crystal Dynamics/Square.

okay u saw it. Long running multiplat series, not published my MS (meaning they didnt fund this one or something like how nintendo funded bayoneta2), they just dumped money on them to say its exclusive. Obv it was going to be timed

For the money. I don't know if you remember but it wasn't that long ago square was in financial trouble. If Microsoft comes a knockin offering money for time exclusivity they would be stupid not to take it.

I was talking about it being a permanent exclusive, which is what people thought when it was announced. Being a time exclusive makes complete sense.

Oh yeah that was obviously not going to happen for the same reason.
