I never used to get that, I'd hardly ever get a contested kill in AC2.

Da fuq, just started playing this.

I can't unpick chests...

I get them all the way, repeated clicking the trigger, then they just reset once they get to the end of the slide.

What the fuck am I doing wrong? ><

Past the start one easy, it's the actual opening chests in boston and the frontier which I cannot do....

Just gets to the end of the slide, then shoots back.

Worked it out...

Took me like 20mins of repeating. Once it the slide goes to the end, the lock resets. Just gotta spam the fuck outa the RT and hope.

Yout probably moved one of your hands to early. I kept doing that and I was never getting it, but when I made sure to keep my hands steady I didn't have a problem opening one again.
