Okay I rescind my earlier comments. This game was easily the best in the series, right about untill the last 30 minutes. Those endings are fucked. Why can't we have a kill all the reapers, yay yay, everythings eh oh kay instead of those "I don't want to pick any they're all bad". Having the end spoiled doesn't prepare you for how wrong these endings were.

For how good the writing was in this game, they really dropped the ball at the end.

You know there will be DLC that addresses that Caedus.

Before I experienced the ending for myself I would have said not a chance they change the ending through DLC but now that I have they have to. All 3 endings effectively end the series.

This is supposed to be the end of the series. But not the franchise.

They already stated that they will continue the Mass Effect franchise, but this trilogy is over.

Huge spoiler, but in all the endings, the mass relays are disabled, and in one all life in the galaxy is fused into an organic-synthetic hybrid. How could they continue the franchise from any of those endings?

You're thinking on a one track mind. If they didn't continue it into the years fallowing the ending of Mass Effect 3 they can open a new story from different perspectives or even do what Star Wars did. I for one would love to fight in the First Contact War.

Star Wars goes into the future as well as going back. The leaked script in Novemeber had a positive ending. Bioware effectively ends progression forward if they don't make a new ending.
