ok im still only on sequence 8 or 9

got all my side missions done i believe

and how do you get more assassins in my guild? i only got 3 guys in my guild so far

Probably more unlock. I believe you get 3 recruits from both NY and Boston. If you check your map it'll show you which districts are liborated and who you recruited from it.

How do you upgrade your crafters in your homestead?

I want to upgrade big dave so I can make that war tomahawk

It'll happen eventually. Most Artisan missions after during and after Sequence 9.

Oh, so you have to do actual Artisan missions to upgrade them? You can't just craft things to do it?
