Secondary sources are generally biased towards the subject. As you are clearly Anti-American, you can find a secondary source that looks down upon the Americans.
Btw George Washington was the fucking MAN. The people who started the revolutionary war, literally changed the world. Let me know when you were able to do such, or when your country made a difference.
Then what are primary sources? Even more biased? Secondary sources are written by authors who use a variety of other secondary and primary sources, and are less biased then the direct content because they use content from both sides.
And of course unless you take a post-secondary class on it, highschool isn't going to give you the real view of Washington. Washington in real life was a poor military officer, who's only strength was ambushes. He was more suited to a middle commander role like a Colonel where he could do things like that than Commander-in-chief. He almost destroyed the entire colonial army with mistakes at New York and Valley Forge. The war was a statemate leaning towards the British before the French and Spanish intervened and caused Britain to have to worry about a potential French invasion in Europe, and had the Spanish/French attacking their possesion in the Carribean/India. Washington had his ass saved. He also didn't practice what he preached, he owned many slaves, hated natives. If the British had promoted him like he wanted (Which they didn't because he wasn't anything special command wise) he probably would have been fighting for the British instead, and the 'templar' Charles Lee would have been Commander-in-Chief.
You're taking offense at me stating facts, so who's the hypocrite here?
