V-armor is the best imo

V-Armor is okay, I play as an engineer mostly and almost always get the first shot out. I like optics for the obvious reason, shooting at range, but its also good for pinpoint close-medium range shots. Specifically shooting infantry with a T-90 :3 I must point out though that V-Elect is AWESOME, it really is. You have to listen for it on hardcore mode though but its still there. Especially on Panama Canal where they lay mines all over the fucking place, or on the UAV in softcore and being able to find hidey spots and the like for your squad.

i'm gonna give v-elect a shot, how can u tell where they are from a sound though?

It's going to be alot tougher on hardcore :\ it makes a distinct 'bing' sound when an enemy/mine is in the vicinity of your tank. Sometimes your guy will call it out too, like 'we have some enemy mines in the area' or whatever, and then you need to search for it. I remember I got hate mail once because of it this level 50 recon kept trying to come up on my tank and c4 me, but I saw him on my mini map every time and just ran his ass over. He called me a noob for using V-Elect, I called him a noob for repeatedly trying to sneak up on someone that knew he was there. It will help mostly for mines in hardcore since you don't have a mini map. Also remember that they call mines 'mines' and c4 is 'enemy explosive device'
