I changed my mind. Saw some footage comparisons and it looks nearly indistinguishable from original. Will not be spending my money on this.

id still get it for 15$ just for the mods
even though i already have it on pc i prefer playing console games

Won't happen
Unless Bethesda allows it the console can't support the same scripts to do so.

if you're talking about the Tamriel Online mod, I assume it wouldn't work due to requiring the Script Extender, which isn't a typical mod for the game (cause it uses its own launcher to function)

Sure, you can finish the story in 37 hours, good job and congrats.

The mods that are now available for any device you choose to play on exponentially grow the time one can spend in this game. I'm excited to try and finish a playthrough on vanilla and then mod the shit out of this game. Playing on xbox one for reference. Never thought I'd see the day where I can mod Skyrim from the comfort of my bed with a controller in my hand (on my xbox one I might add.... yes, I know pc has been doing this for a while)

No.... 37 hours for EVERY quest-line of any relevance, along with every daedric item etc...

I fucked around a bit with the mods on PC, but I haven't seen anything that would double or triple the size of the original game(that's not trash, couple good things, could probably get another 20-30 hours of it at most). Once again, just not sure how in the name of fuck people can spend this much time on this game. It was a fun and easy game and it was exciting while it lasted. Once you're invincible it gets pretty boring and Skyrim was by far the easiest of the series and I thought it couldn't possibly get easier after Oblivion.

Didn't play Morrowind, but I can say with full confidence that Oblivion isn't even close to Skyrim. I understand that graphics don't make a game, but the systems development in Skyrim is SO much better than Oblivion. It's really not even close.

It's pretty much a toss-up between the two. Obviously Skyrim has done much more with modding now and eclipses Oblivion at this point, but vanilla v vanilla, the edge goes to Oblivion. Better all around quest lines everywhere (DB was fucking fantastic and there are many others). Skyrim was fun, just bland and every single dungeon you went into felt the exact same as the 30 you cleared beforehand. Same goes for the Daedric item quests. Something that's always been a personal favorite thing for myself in each and every ES entry. Skyrim did alright, but fell short of it's predecessors there.

Same.

Seeing as one of the MODS adds 27+ hours of content alone. (Falskaar)
