Does anyone know when Microsoft is planning on releasing the ability for users to play Xbox 360 games on the Xbox One (backward compatibility)? I couldn't find release date anywhere.

For preview members they said it'll start right away. They just said holiday this year for everyone else

You have to opt-in, but it's not guaranteed you'll get selected. Not sure if it's even open anymore. Also, preview members are only able to chat with other preview members because you're locked onto different servers
