How....... Seriously, fucking how? I haven't done a ton of side quests, maybe 15 in total and I have 7 hours logged and I'm on the last mission. It's not an awful game, it's just not good. Story was weak and predictable, all of the content was insanely easy and side quests offer no real benefit (from what I've seen so far). Just not sure how people can be so into games like this. The whole thing just seems lazy.
I didn't rush anything. I didn't die much, except for the parts that it felt like you were supposed to die. I explored a lot looking for chests and such. The story wasn't the best, but I didn't feel as though it was going to be a real story driven game from the beginning. A lot of side quests are harder than the main missions, especially at low skill levels. There definitely needs to be different difficulties added, no doubt about it. For instance, somebody with a level 25 survivor skill level can find weapons upwards of 1300 damage, and they're still fighting the same zombies as I was while using weapons that do around 100 damage. The game should either have difficulty settings or just automatically scale to your level at the very least. The developers seem to care a lot about PC from what I've seen, so lets see if they push out some updates for console as well. I can see some fun horde type game modes being added in DLC and such. The game will either die out fast on console with no developer support, or it might turn into a game with a lot of replay value, we'll see.
