What kind if game is it?

Openish world RPG where you die very easily.

In an interview w/ the developer, he said he expected "advanced/skilled players" to die 15-20 dies within the first hour or 2 of playing

Is this game even worth looking at?

If you get a kick at getting past extremely hard levels then yes

I wouldn't go that far, you just kinda have to be smart about the situation. if you try to run in a room hacking and slashing you're gonna have a bad time

After watching a few hours of live streaming over the past week I have to say this is bullshit.

The flak they got from "artificial difficulty" in Dark Souls wouldn't make them add more of it.
