The things you listed are pretty cheap tho, 8gb ram under $40, lots of good cases for $80 and under, etc. After u add it all, you can easily make a solid pc for not much more than an xbone cost.


Plus keep in mind pc can do so much more, not like you are only using a pc for gaming. Need it for every day life shit too. Assume you already have a keyboard/mouse, otherwise I doubt you would be typing right now

His point was that what you get when you purchase a consoles is everything you will need besides games. Everyone building a PC leaves out a board/mouse and an OS both of which have the equivalent included on consoles and both of which can equal to around 200 dollars total for PC. It's something you need yet everyone assumes you already have or get for free. Not to mention a blu ray player which no one would add to PC because of cost, but is a great device that cones standard on consoles now...

you'd be getting a bottom tier pc though when you consider cost of the blu ray drive and OS that you have to include (nobody's going to run ubuntu on their gaming pc)

believe me, i know pc gaming is a much better experience visually etc

you'd probably end up building some junker amd apu build or else an intel dual-core with a low/mid radeon gpu - which means you'd be stuck running old games on medium settings.

His whole thing like with most people telling you to build a computer is that you don't need to pay for an OS, you already have a board/mouse, and you don't technically need a drive.

I am a huge xbox 360 fan and I prefer a 360 over a ps3 anyday.
However, Xbox one is total fucking garbage. The only thing they 1 up'd ps4 on is controllers. The console is a complete piece of shit. The kinect fucks everything up, from time to time the sound will go out. They are giving them away with the purchase of HDTV's in my area. They are bad, anyone who says otherwise is just ass kissing microsoft. I go with the better system, dont care who makes what.
