you say orange beach AL... not 30 mins crossing across Mississippi i have done it many times and its around 2-3 hours(maybe more)
BUT if its actually in Florida and not Alabama... you got 2 states between.
so about another 8 hours car ride....

i drive from Nashville, Tennessee to Houston, Texas twice a month.
13 hour ride. oO been through that way a ton.
been doing it since i was 17. (at that time i lived in Alabama so only bout 10 hours.)
