Is there a way to manually check for game updates without putting the disc in first? I came from the PS4 where I could just hover over a game tile, press start, and check for game updates that way.

You could always just set it to automatically download them while in standby, but not sure based on if you have internet max caps on usage.

I used to do that when I had both an X1 and a PS4, but noticed a HUGE increase in my electric bill so I no longer do instant-on mode. Is that the only way to update games without first launching them?
